Its historic cultural\nlandscape is still well preserved today with many elements and structures. Water was of great importance as a driving force for mills and the basis for the fishing industry. Abt und Gr\u00fcndungskonvent kamen aushilfsweise aus Waldsassen statt aus dem Mutterkloster Maulbronn. Die Bronnbacher Zisterzienser f\u00f6rderten vor allem den Weinbau in der Region. Trotz der \u00dcberschaubarkeit des Gebiets sind typische Elemente der Kulturlandschaft im Wesentlichen vertreten. The monastery was one\nof the wealthiest in Franconia, with the princebishopric\nof W\u00fcrzburg as sovereign.
